Okay, I'm 60 years old, so how do I get to do a review of computer based training courses?
Well, first of all I remember computers when they were called maniacs and took up an entire building. Then they started shrinking down to one floor brainiacs, next came the desk models........they only took up one room. And now we're all the way down to carrying them around in our hands on the phone!
I also remember learning how to deal with these various computers. From punch cards (that we made Christmas wreaths with when they were outdated), to magnetic strips, then onto straight input like I'm doing now.
WOW Things have changed and keeping up with them is almost a full time job! As daunting as that task may appear to be for some "seniors" and some notso seniors I've come across a place that has courses geared to teach you whatever you need to learn to use these "new fangled" computers.
TrainingCenter.com has more courses online to teach you about computers than you ever thought you need to know. They have all the lastest software that you can learn about (which if you know the older version, they can update you); they have courses for the "techies"; web design; office skills and of course the MicroSoft courses that we're all learning how to use to get around.
The neat thing that if I can follow them, I know anyone can.
They also have two guarantees: 1. They won't be undersold, so if you find it cheaper somewhere else, they'll match that price. 2. You have a 7 day money back guarantee, so try it for a week, if you can't do it, you'll get your money back. (Tell me one college that will do that!)
You also have the option of purchasing just one individual class for $37 to $67 or getting an entire course for $97 to $197. This allows you access to these courses for one full year. Oh yeah, they certify you too!
